Founder & Pet Care Professional
Hi, I’m Nez —the heart (and paws) behind Pawz Set Go!
Caring for animals has always been my passion. I’ve been working with animals for nearly two decades, first as a veterinarian back home (after completing my Post Graduation in Veterinary Homeopathy) and later as a senior veterinary assistant here in Canada. In addition, I am CPR certified and have experience with Laser therapy and rehabilitation. Over the years, I’ve helped pets of all kinds feel comfortable, safe, and loved—whether it’s giving a shy kitty her meds, trimming a nervous pup’s nails, deshedding a bunny or simply keeping pets company while their families are away.
With me, it’s never “just a job.” Every pet I meet becomes part of my extended furry family. I bring patience, kindness, experience and a big smile to every visit, making sure tails wag and purrs rumble before I leave.
So when you choose Pawz Set Go, you’re not just getting a service—you’re getting someone who has the knowledge and truly cares about your pet as much as you do.

Cyrus has always had a soft corner for animals, and when Nez decided to bring Pawz Set Go to action, he was her first supporter. You will often spot him during pick-ups and drop-offs, greeting pets with a smile and making sure every ride is safe and stress free. Behind the scenes, Cy keeps the wheels turning - quite literally and figuratively! From lending an extra pair of hands whenever we need it, to running the books and supporting day-to-day operations, he's always ready to step in with reliability and heart!

It’s simple!! You can call us, email us or send a message through our website inquiry form – and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible to discuss the details.
A meet & greet helps us get to know your pet’s routine, personality and comfort level before any service begins. It gives your pet a chance to meet us in a calm, familiar space and help you get comfortable with us to make sure it’s a right fit for all. It’s definitely a visit that involves a lot of treats and positive reinforcement.
We take the time to answer your questions, review care instructions, get the required documents filled and signed and incase of pet sitting it’s where the house keys are handed over. This visit usually lasts about 20-30min.
This is the first step in building trust and creating a long ongoing relationship for your pet’s care in the future.
We know how hard it is to open your home and hand over your pet to someone new – and we don’t take pet care lightly. At Pawz Set Go, we are pet parents too.. so we know that your pet’s safety, comfort and happiness comes first.
You can feel confident that:
- Nez has extensive experience in veterinary medicine and animal behavior.
- Nez is CPR certified, insured and bonded.
- We offer a “Meet & Greet” so your can get to know us before any services begin.
- We follow your routines exactly as mentioned on the forms which get filled on our first visit.
- Our visits are fully documented and shared with you, ensuring transparency, continuity of care and for future reference as well.
- We keep you regularly updated with picture, videos and messages during our visits.
By the time we start caring for your pet, we are no longer strangers – just trusted friends looking out for your furry family.
We understand that some pets can be nervous, reactive or unsure around new people – and that’s okay. Aggression is often just fear or stress, and with patience, familiarity and the right approach, many pets settle in beautifully.
During the “Meet & Greet”, we assess your pet’s comfort level, triggers and handling needs. If your pet requires time, space or a slow introduction, we follow their pace. However, if your pet is too stressed, reactive or unsafe to handle, we may not be able to proceed with certain services. Your pet’s safety- and ours- will always come first. In that case, we’ll guide you towards alternatives that may better suit your pet.
Our goal is never to force; it’s to keep every pet safe, understood and respected.
No worries at all – we are here to make pet care easy, stress free, comfortable and accessible to everyone.
If you are elderly, have mobility challenges or prefer not assisting with certain tasks, we take care of everything gently and respectfully. Incase we need additional help we will discuss these details, including the cost and requirements, during the “Meet & Greet”.
If English isn’t your first language, that’s okay too. We communicate with patience, simple instructions and plenty of understanding. We use translation apps and written notes or whatever helps you feel comfortable.
Our goal is to support you as much as we support your pet- with kindness, respect and zero judgement. You are never alone in the process… we are always here to help!
